VITAE: SCOTT PONDER

Scott Ponder is a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) and
Certified Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist (CEECS). Using his
18 years of private sector and law enforcement experience, he's
conducted thorough civil and criminal computer forensic examinations by
extracting and reconstructing data from various computer, PDA and
network sources.
Mr.
Ponder is a Staff Instructor at the International Association of
Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) training conference in
Orlando, Florida attended by law enforcement officers worldwide.
He's
completed basic and advanced computer forensics training at the IACIS
training conference in Orlando, Florida, Internet Forensics and
Internet Investigations training at the Federal Law Enforcement
Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, Georgia and The Seizure and
Examination of Microcomputers training presented by SEARCH, The
National Consortium for Justice and Statistics in Sacramento,
California.
Mr.
Ponder has developed and currently maintains the "Internet History
Viewer" software, which reads history files created by Microsoft's
Internet Explorer and Netscape's Communicator. This program is
currently being used by local, state, federal and international law
enforcement agencies including: FBI, U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative
Service, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, U.S. Secret Service, IRS,
Kriminal Polizei Aschaffenberg (Germany), Royal Canadian Mounted
Police, Metropolitan Police (Scotland Yard).
Active
in the community, he teaches classes on basic computer skills and "The
Internet and Your Child." Mr. Ponder is a member of IACIS and the High
Technology Crime Investigators Association (HTCIA).
